MTN Nigeria has reviewed its calls rates. This recent review sees the introduction of one new package – MTN TruTalk and a modification of three existing packages – MTN Smooth (now Smooth Talk Plus), MTN Pulse (now iPulse) and SuperSaver (now SuperSaver Plus).

MTN TruTalk

Overview of Key Features

MTN TruTalk is a new tariff plan introduced by MTN. this plan allows you speak to family & friends across ALL networks at 20k/sec. The followings are the key features of this tariff:

  1. N300 Bonus to call 2 special numbers (on recharge of N200 or more). Valid for 7 days.
  2. Free 10MB weekly data bonus on recharge of N100
  3. Free midnight calls (MTN to MTN)
  4. 20k/sec from the very first second!
  5. Happy Hour; On-net – Free (with N100 minimum balance)
  6. Happy Hour; On-net – 20k/sec  (without N100 minimum balance)
  7. Happy Hour; Off-net – 20k/sec
  8. Dial *400# to migrate

MTN SmoothTalk

Overview of Key Features

The New MTN SmoothTalk offer subscribers opportunity to call at the rate rate of 15kobo per second to all networks in Nigeria. The followings are the key features of this tariff:

  1. N300 Bonus to calls 1 special number on recharge of N200. Valid for 7 days.
  2. Free 10MB weekly data bonus on recharge of N100
  3. 15kobo per second to all networks in Nigeria
  4. Rate applies after first call of the day at 40k/sec
  5. Happy Hour; On-net – Free (with N100 minimum balance)
  6. Happy Hour; On-net – 15k/sec  (without N100 minimum balance)
  7. Happy Hour; Off-net – 15k/sec
  8. To Migrate to MTN SmoothTalk Plus, dial *401# or send 401 to 131.

MTN SuperSaver Plus

Overview of Key Features

The followings are the key features of this tariff:

  1. 10kobo per second to all networks in Nigeria
  2. Rate applies after first call of the day at 42k/sec
  3. Happy Hour; On-net – Free (with N100 minimum balance)
  4. Happy Hour; On-net – 10k/sec  (without N100 minimum balance)
  5. Happy Hour; Off-net – 10k/sec
  6. 10MB on N100 recharge or more. Valid for 7 days
  7. 5 Free minutes for Info search service
  8. 1 month Free subscription to Business Day and CNN news
  9. To Migrate to MTN SuperSaver Plus, dial *408# or send 408 to 131.

MTN IPulse

Overview of Key Features

MTN IPulse is a special tariff plan that now allows you enjoy a FLAT rate of 10 kobo per second for calls ACROSS ALL local Networks after the first minute of MTN-to-MTN calls and MTN-to-Other networks call at 42 kobo per second respectively. The new MTN IPulse tariff plan does not feature a daily or monthly subscription fee.

  1. 10kobo per second to all networks in Nigeria
  2. Rate applies after first call of the day at 42k/sec
  3. Happy Hour; On-net – Free (with N100 minimum balance)
  4. Happy Hour; On-net – 10k/sec  (without N100 minimum balance)
  5. Happy Hour; Off-net – 10k/sec
  6. 10MB on N100 recharge or more. Valid for 7 days
  7. 1 month Free subscription to callertunez service and 5 (five) Free caller tunes to choose 1 (one). Valid for 30 days
