Lufthansa introduces direct payment for passengers

Lufthansa has introduced ‘Amadeus Airport Pay’ which enables secure and simple payments at the check-in counter in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.

This new service, developed by Amadeus and Ingenico, will subsequently be available at more than 170 airports around the world.

The European airline said in a statement that the customers would be able to pay for ancillary services, such as excess baggage, with chip-cards (credit/debit cards), girocard payments and compatible digital wallets.
