Simba Group has said it will establish a multimillion tricycle assemblage plant in Nigeria in 2018.
Speaking to journalists during the launch of its’ new brand TVS Deluxe at the weekend, the Abuja Branch Manager of the firm, Ravil Bajaj, said the group was already in talks with some state governments on the project, which it was hoped would reduce unemployment in the country.
He also said the company was already in partnership with the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), to empower unemployed youths with the assemblage of tricycle, popularly called “keke”.
He also revealed that the firm had commenced talks with the Federal Ministry of Trade and Industries to facilitate the production process of the tricycle in Nigeria.
