Customers to react on Fashola’s eligibility declaration in 21 days – NERC

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has given electricity customers 21 days to react on the recent declaration of eligible customers in the power sector by the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola.

NERC said it has published a consultation paper on its website on the framework for the implementation of the scheme.

“The paper has attempted to bring to fore some of the issues that may arise and has indicated the policy direction, consistent with the EPSR Act 2005, towards mitigating the unintended impacts of the declaration of eligibility in the NESI,” it said in its publication at the weekend.
